Consistory Update: Choir News
The Valley of Boston is comprised of four bodies. Massachusetts Consistory is the body that is responsible for presenting the 19th through the 32nd Degree to Masons who wish to expand their Scottish Rite journey. It is through Consistory degrees that they become a Sublime Prince of the Royal Secret, and a 32° Mason. Within our Consistory, there are several groups that help, support, and enhance the presentations of these degrees. One of these groups is the Consistory Choir.
The Choir has been successfully operating under the management of Il∴. Richard B. Burgess, 33° and under the musical direction of Bro. William Nierintz, 32°, MSA, both of whom did a superb job in organizing and scheduling rehearsals, musical content, and degree performances.
As of the spring of 2013, the management of the choir will be under Bro. Evangelos Liapis 32° and the musical direction under Maestro Patrick Botti 32°.The Choir performs twice a year during the Valley of Boston reunions that are held in the spring and fall of each year, and we hold either two or three rehearsals before the reunion to tune up. Our meetings are usually held at the Boston Masonic building.
