New Massachusetts Knights Chapter Instituted

On Sunday, June 23, 2013, over 200 Scottish Rite Masons from across Massachusetts, their families and friends gathered at the Grand Lodge Building for the Ceremonies of Induction and Inaugural Banquet of Bannockburn to celebrate the constituting of Massachusetts Chapter of the Knights of St. Andrew. Over 100 Brethren joined the Order, which operates primarily as a service club for the Valley of Boston.

In attendance was Illustrious Deputy for Massachusetts, Ill∴ Donald M. Moran, 33º, accompanied by Sovereign Grand Commander of the Northern Masonic Jurisdiction, Ill∴ John Wm. McNaughton, 33º, and Active Members of the Supreme Council, Ill∴ Donald G. Hicks, Jr., and Ill∴ Robert E. Godbout, 33°.

The Commander-in-Chief of Massachusetts Consistory, Bro. Scott D. Inglis, 32º, presented the charter of the newest Chapter in the Northern Masonic Jurisdiction to V∴ Bro. Jerry A. Roach, Jr., 32º, Venerable Master. Eighty-six (86) candidates were inducted and following the ceremonies, everyone enjoyed a social period and banquet in the Grand Master's Dining Room. It was a great day for the Valley of Boston.
