Valley Notice to be Mailed
The spring notice of Valley meetings is ready to be released and will be mailed out by the end of the month (February). Keep an eye out for this notice, as it has the information for what will be taking place at the One Day Class.
The spring One Day Class will take place in honor of Ill∴ Richard H. Curtis, 33o, on Saturday, April 5, 2014 in Gothic Hall at the Boston Masonic building, 186 Tremont Street, Boston, Massachusetts. The degrees being performed that day are the 4th, 12th, 15th, 18th, 30th, 31st and 32nd.

2014 Abbott Scholarship
Every June, the Massachusetts Council of Deliberation awards Abbott Scholarships to college students of the fraternal youth.
Named for Leon M. Abbott, Sovereign Grand Commander from 1921 to 1932, the Scholarship Program provides financial support for the continuing education of young men and women from Scottish Rite families and Masonic related youth groups. Since 1951, more than $3 million has been awarded to students from each state of the Northern Jurisdiction.

Valley Has New Webmaster
 On July 16th, 2013, Justin T. Cargill of Grafton, MA, started with the Valley of Boston as an intern for web services and office assistance. Next week, Justin will assume the position of webmaster for the Valley of Boston.
Justin will succeed Bro. Christopher D. Rooney, 32o, who has helped train Justin for this transition. Justin is a member of Benjamin Franklin Chapter, Order of DeMolay. He is also the current Deputy State Master Councilor of Massachusetts DeMolay and the Region I Cabinet Member of DeMolay International.
