Membership Update
The Valley of Boston has several committees of dedicated brethren that are always hard at work, either planning great events for our members, or working on how to increase our ranks. One of these dedicated groups is the Membership Committee, which is composed of several dedicated brethren. Over the past few months they have been busy building several new programs which they are now ready to share with all of us!
The Engagement Subcommittee has begun to pilot the Valley's Brother to Brother calling program. Our goal is to make a personal connection with each member in the Valley. The pilot will help us work out the logistical details of having to regularly call thousands of Brothers. If you would like to volunteer to spend an hour or so making phone calls or if you would like to join the committee contact the office.
The Membership Advancement – Education Subcommittee is starting two new programs in the Valley of Boston. First there will be a colloquium at the fall reunion where you can hear a group of experts talk on variety of topics regarding the Northern Masonic Jurisdiction. The topics will range from the history of the Rite to the meaning of the degrees. This colloquium will run from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm and is a perfect opportunity for those who want to gain more light in Masonry, and gain deeper insight into Masonry and Scottish Rite. Whether you are a new brother eager to learn more, or a veteran of the Valley still searching for light, come down enjoy a day of fraternalism, education, and fun with your brothers in the Valley. The second new program will also begin at this years fall reunion. Every brother who joins in October will receive a booklet with information about each of the degrees that they witnessed with additional information about the degrees.
